Buster, Bertie & Lizzie make their show debut :

Buster was entered into the any variety working puppy class  at Leeds where he came second out of 32. He also won First in Minor puppy and Puppy at the English Saint Bernard Open Show. He beat Bertie for best puppy dog.
Bertie won Minor Puppy dog and Puppy at Leeds and was reserve best dog. He was second to Bertie at the English show.
Lizzie won Minor Puppy Bitch at Leeds and won 4 firsts and a second at the English show.

Future Shows :

Buster is of to Wales on Augusr 16th and Bertie Buster and Lizzie are all entered for Darlington and Driffield in September watch out for their progress.

Puppies galore? :

We have mated Emma to Solo and Madja has been mated to a fine Smoothcoat Bernmont Malcom. Watch this space for news of puppies.

Crufts 2008 :

We had a marvellous time at Crufts 2008 and brought back this wonderful picture!

Home required :

We are seeking a home for Washington, he is 3 years old, his back end is not sound but he is not crippled he just cannot be shown he is a big boy so he will need plenty of room. Our conditions are a letter from your vet, and an agreement that the dog will be either spayed or neutered, together with a donation of £100 to the Saint Bernard rescue fund.

Solo :

Solo has been to Crufts and SKC this year and has done reasonably well. He is a magnificent dog and he continues to improve.His back end is begining to tighten and he will soon be ready for major honours. All in all and  taking into account his one bad fault(loose movement) I consider Him to be one of our best dogs ever. I am ever the critic of my own stock and when I look at some of the lesser dogs which have beaten him I still consider him to be a good winner and of superior build. He has excellent bone ,height, the most wonderful expression,Strong head,sound shoulder lay, perfect elbows and a hip score of 6/6 (breed average 26)to be beaten by dogs with bad elbows poor heads poor eyes small and weak just because they move a little better is a hard pill to swallow. Neverthless watch this space he will have his day.
